Nubuck, the softest of our leathers, has a lush and silky feel. This leather is known for rich, bright colors and is perfect for leisure shoes and sandals. Surface dirt can be removed with a damp washcloth or brush. To remove shiny marks or more stubborn stains, try Dansko's Nubuck/Suede Bar and Brush. For maximum water and stain protection, we recommend using Dansko's Suede and Nubuck Spray before wearing.

Oiled Leather
Oiled leather has a heavily oiled finish that creates a durable and moisture-resistant surface. It is often referred to as a rugged leather, ready to take on many outdoor environments. It allows surface scuffs to be easily worked out with the fingers, while stubborn dirt can be removed with Dansko's Oiled Leather Restorer. If weather-proofing is desired, we recommend using Dansko's Beeswax Conditioner with lanolin.
